Starting January 28th, Wa-Ke Hatchee After School Care Program will add a Junior Badminton Program that will be held every Wednesday. We are pleased to announce that SWFLBC will be participating in this exciting program to promote badminton in Fort Myers. Coach Wayne and Thomas will be teaching the students about badminton for fun, exercise and to give a better understanding of competitive side of this exciting sport. If you know of any students who might like to join us, please contact Wa-Ke Hatchee Park & Recreation Center at (239) 432-2154 and ask about their after school Junior Badminton Program.

In order to participate, students will need to have a Lee County Parks & Recreation membership card(one-time $5 fee) and join the WKH After School Care Program.

Lee County Senior Game 2009- Badminton will be held at Wa-Ke Hatchee Recreation Center on February 1st, 2009. Registration form is available for you to download HERE. Please contact the Cape Coral Parks and Recreation at 239-573-3125 if you have any question.

Participants will need to have their own racquet in order to participate the event(s).

Deadline for entry is January 16th, 2009. No entries will be accepted after that date. Entry must be postmarked by Friday January 16th, 2009 or hand delivered to Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Department by January 17th, 2009.
No on-site sign up will be permitted.

*Attention all Men's Double (MD), Women's Double (WD) and Mix Double (XD) participants*
If you did not specify a partner on your entry form, we will assume that you are requesting a partner and form as many teams as possible.
